We will be joining organisations and individuals from around the world by honouring Earth Hour and turning off our lights from 8pm until 9pm on Saturday March 29. The goal is to raise awareness about climate change and symbolize that working together the people of the world can make a difference.
One of the core principles of our faith is Personal Responsibility. Good stewardship of the Earth is a duty to which we are called and must answer, as part of our love for God, for God's Creation and for one another.
The service will start at 7:30pm, with the lights going out at 8pm. It promises to be a very meaningful and special event. All are welcome, but whether you join us or not, we encourage you wherever you are to celebrate God's Precious Gifts and make a commitment to preserve them for all.
